Adult CPR & First Aid Certification
Contact Hours: 3 (an estimated time frame devoted to a course of study from start to finish that can vary from student to student)
This online course provides AHA-certified training in adult and child CPR as well as the correct use of automatic electronic defibrillators (AEDs). This course also covers Basic First Aid for adults and children providing training to treat a wide range of medical emergencies one might encounter on a daily basis.
This is a comprehensive course, ideal for those who work in a setting where they may be asked to provide CPR, first aid, and other medical aid on a fairly regular basis. A selection of professions where this certification may be appropriate includes:

Please note: course of study may be completed earlier than indicated and students retain access for one year from the date of enrollment.
Upon successful completion, students are taught to able to perform CPR on adults, children and infants. This includes the full CPR cycle and Hands-Only CPR. They will additionally be able to provide basic first aid for a variety of medical emergencies.
This course contains a final exam to help you measure your progress and mastery of the techniques. A score of 70 or higher is required to earn a Certification.
