Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Recertification

Course Name

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Recertification

Contact Hours: 5 (an estimated time frame devoted to a course of study from start to finish that can vary from student to student)

Course Description

The ACLS course is designed for healthcare providers who act in participation or directing the resuscitation of patients, in or outside of the hospital setting. ACLS stresses the importance of basic life support (CPR) for patient survival as well as advanced interventions, multiple-provider scenarios, and communication to use during resuscitation. This course is prepared for people who have passed the ACLS exam before and is shorter than the full ACLS Certification course.

Prerequisite

You must already hold an ACLS provider card (current or expired) before taking this course. If your provider card expired more than 2 years ago, we recommend you take the full ACLS certification course.

Please note: This recertification course is online and is not an onsite program.
